Aftermath: World Without Oil (WWO)

Recently i watched the documentary movie called "World Without Oil". The movie was great! It shows the picture of our future, of the future where we will run out of oil. It sounds very scary! But it is true. Till this moment we have used trillion barrels of oil which our earth contains. But all this time the population of the Earth was not so big. Nowadays there are 7 billion people in the world. And it is increasing very fast. Some people say that the rest of oil is enough only for more 50 years. After that mankind will have to create new alternative of fuel. Can you imagine, that for everything which is created by man, which is surrounding us, has been used oil  to produce it.
The cars which we drive consume tremendous litters of oil. In whole USA, every day people use 8 million barrels of petrol. And this figures are increasing. The USA is the biggest importer of oil on the world. Only in New York, they use 7 million litters of oil for transportation per year to clean and collect rubbish. It is tremendous amount of oil, only for New York City...
In whole world 80% of electricity is being produced by using oil. It is not only wasting our resources, but it is  also polluting environment. So why we should use oil, can't we replace offshore oil with offshore wind? Or with some other alternatives which is less harmful for environment, or ever without harm. For example solar energy, which requires a peace of glass, a little bit of natural light and some wires. No burning, no boiling, only keeping in on our roof strait to solar rays.
Some day, the all the sources of oil will run out. And then everything start changing. the World which we now nowadays will be totally different. Some times changes lead to good times. Maybe disappearance of oil will bring us the new and clean world. With disappearance of oil we will no be able to burn anything, there will not be any thing done which will cause harm to environment. But so far we have oil, we should save it for our future generation, that they could create new types of resources, which will be renewable.
